Many residents came hoping to hear why a three time meth cooker wasn’t given hard jail time. The Anoka County lawyer who handled the case (Nancy Norman Nancy.Norman@Co.Anoka.MN.US, Assistant Anoka County Attorney at 763-323-5626) was not at the meeting. Many who attended where hoping to find out why Coon Lake Beach still has a meth head living and working in our neighborhood. Dewayne Eberhart out of frustration summed up his views of the meeting, “do you know what I got out of this meeting? A cup cake and a cup of coffee.” (Dewey Quote) Others enjoyed the coffee and door prizes.
