As some of you know this week one of our local cabins was broken into and another burned to the ground. Further information is pending and there is a reward leading to the arrest of the criminal cowards that did this. If you have any information, call 763-323-5000 and ask for Detective Kurt. You may also make a private Beach call to 464-1280. Any information would be helpful.

Laura Landes at the Anoka County Sheriff's Office
In the early hours of October 18, 2005 there was some criminal activity that occurred in the Coon Lake Beach area. A home was on fire, there was a vehicle theft, a boat theft, and a burglary. The case remains active so not much more information can be released.
We want the residents of Coon Lake Beach to be vigilant about reporting suspicious behavior. The curfew for juveniles in East Bethel is 9:30 pm Monday through Sunday for kids 17 years of age and under. Please feel free to contact 911 if you see juveniles out after curfew in your neighborhood. If you know a home or cabin is unoccupied, but see juveniles or suspicious persons in or around the property, please contact 911 to report it.
If you call 911, please have descriptions available of the suspects or vehicles. With vehicles, a license plate is always preferred, but a good description of the vehicle and a direction of travel if it leaves the area is helpful. When describing a person it is helpful to have information about what they are wearing, how many people are there and if they leave, tell us what direction they are heading.
By keeping an eye out for suspicious activity and watching your neighbors property, we can reduce criminal behavior in your area.
If you have any questions regarding this message you may contact Laura Landes
at the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, 763.767.4664.

Maynard Field Update: After have a conversation with Park guy Terry, we finally have our baseball field back. Thanks Terry but please don't ever let a job like this hold up our field for so darn long.
