Marge talked
about having a Cadillac Dinner. It's a possible fundraiser for March. According
to the MN department of Revenue, up to November 2002, we have not been
negative. Presented the figures from the day we started up till now. We were
negative for the first time last month. According to the MN Dept. of Revenue,
this was the first time, and the column J is what they go by, not by our
monthly totals. We have to be in compliance on the 12th and the 24th
month. If we are in compliance by April 30th then we will have to
reimburse from our general fund. We need a fundraiser. Talked to Mike about
lowering the rent, and he was not receptive to the
idea. Discussion ensued. Dick suggests cutting expenditures. Marge said,
according to auditor we have cut all we could. Discussion on compensation
ensued. Gambling manager makes $666/mo and assistant manager makes $500/mo and
there are two that split it. Bonnie asked that the minutes reflect that the
revenue is less and the compensation is more. Dick suggests renting out dock
spaces. We are going to get our membership drive going early. Diana suggests
that donations would be appreciated in the newsletter when events take place.
Discussion about dock spaces ensued.
